Terms and conditions I RISTORANTE MERCATO
1. RESERVATION
The reservation agreement and any changes to the services shall become binding as soon as they have been confirmed by the restaurant and reconfirmed in writing by the client.
2. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
Please inform us of the definitive number of participants at least two days before the event. This number will then be invoiced. The restaurant reserves the right to charge a no-show fee if there are fewer participants than the number definitely reserved.
3. OFFER
Our menu suggestions are valid from 10 persons. Should you not find what you are looking for in our menu suggestions, we will be happy to fulfil your wishes.
4. DECORATION
Our menu prices do not include table decorations such as flowers, candles, menu cards, etc. We will be happy to organise suitable decorations for your event on request.
5. TERMS OF PAYMENT AND PRICES
a) All prices are in Swiss francs and include service and VAT. The restaurant charges in Swiss francs. Prices in euros are approximate and will be charged at the current exchange rate.
b) The Ristorante reserves the right to request a deposit for certain orders over CHF 1,000.00. The reservation only becomes definitive once this has been received. The deposit will not be refunded if the event is cancelled within the chargeable cancellation period. If the billing address is abroad, the restaurant may invoice 100% of the confirmed service in advance (advance payment 7 days before arrival) or charge a valid credit card.
c) Invoices must be paid within 20 days of the invoice date. No discounts or rebates will be granted. If individual services are to be paid for by the participants themselves, Ristorante Mercato will collect the service purchased on site. If this is not possible, the organiser is obliged to bear the costs if he cannot provide a valid billing address for the participants.
6. LIABILITY
The organiser is liable to the restaurant for damage to the furnishings or inventory and for losses caused by the organiser, his assistants or participants. In order to prevent damage, the installation of decoration material and other objects must always be agreed with the restaurant. In any case, the organiser must ensure that the material complies with fire regulations. The restaurant declines all responsibility for theft and damage to objects, clothing and materials brought to the event.
